Old batteries cannot be disposed of in household waste.
You can return used batteries free of charge to our dispatch warehouse:

As the consumer you are legally obliged to return old batteries.

Batteries which contain hazardous materials bear a symbol showing a crossed-out dustbin and the chemical symbol (Cd, Hg or Pb) as well as categorisation of the heavy metal containing hazardous material:

Cd = battery contains more than 0.002 per cent of Cadmium by mass
Hg = battery contains more than 0.0005 per cent of quicksilver by mass.
Pb = battery contains more than 0.004 per cent of lead by mass.
